JW Terrorists





JW.ORG is announcing the imminent ban of the religion in Russia.  It states;

On March 15, 2017, Russia’s Ministry of Justice filed a claim with the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation to label the Administrative Center of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia as extremist and liquidate it. 

The Governing Body are said to be so concerned at the situation that they are encouraging all eight million Witnesses to write to the Russian authorities to protest the ban.  One of their spokesman made this interesting comment;

“The Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses wants to heighten attention to this critical situation,” states David A. Semonian, a spokesman at the Witnesses’ world headquarters. “Prosecuting non-violent, law-abiding citizens as if they were terrorists is clearly a misapplication of anti-extremist laws. Such prosecution is based on completely false grounds.”

The Russian Ministry of Justice filing used the words: 'extremist' while the JW spokesman changed the word to 'terrorists', a clear and deliberate misdirection.  In a world where terrorism is an ever present threat the accusation of being a terrorist organisation is extremely provocative and JW's know this.  So why did they use the word?

Because everybody is well aware they are not terrorists and it makes the Russian authorities appear to be persecuting them - however the Russians didn't claim that they were terrorists, they claimed that JW's are extremists an accusation that can rightly be levelled at the religion and one in which they are guilty on many counts.

Shunning family members is extremist.

Refusing to let seriously ill children have life-saving blood transfusions is extremist.

Not recognising that women and men are equal is extremist.

Protecting child abusers with the 'Two Witness' rule is extremist.

Teaching that former Witnesses who criticise the religion are 'mentally sick' is extremist.

The organisation has once again slyly altered the facts to suit their own agenda however it seems as though the whole world is waking up to the fact that this religion is a sham.  The Australian Royal Commission are currently showing them up for what they really are and very soon the UK's Charities Commission will be putting them under the same scrutiny.  

Russia's attack on the Witnesses is likely just a political response to the sanctions placed on the country by the USA and NATO member countries, after all, the religion is very much American. 

However it would be good to see Western countries removing the charitable status of the religion as a result of their gross disregard for the safety of their children.  It would be the first significant step in the destabilising and eventual dismantling of a very extreme society.

What's the point of the Memorial?

It's memorial season again and most of us will get an invite.  To JW's it is viewed as the most important meeting of the year and effectively it is the only celebration that they actively encourage. Witnesses view the memorial as a celebration and as kids growing up in the 'truth' we were taught the significance of the emblems and the importance of the ransom sacrifice.  However, from being a youngster, I have always questioned the whole concept of both the memorial and (apostasy alert) more to the point, the reasoning behind Jesus ransom sacrifice.  Here is the basic premise of the memorial;  It's a formal ceremony that acknowledges the sacrifice of a perfect man, Jesus.
