In this blog I will show you, using the Watchtower publication -  Life - How Did It Get Here? By Evolution or by Creation? - just how devious and misleading the Watchtower writers are in order to convince their readers of their authenticity. I am limiting the examples to this one book on this occasion because if you have a copy it will be easy for you verify what I am saying. Jehovahs Witnesses constantly castigate former members who try to reveal the truths that the organisation would rather hide.  They publicly slander these people as 'mentally diseased', 'apostate', 'those that eat with the Devil and his demons' and various other ridiculous names. They desperately try to prevent their followers from reading and watching the views of these former members, promising any who might be curious that they will be siding with Satan and that they will be damaged spiritually.  Any that do give in to their curiosity will face disfellowshipping for disloyalty if they attempt to share what they find with their 'brothers and sisters'. So what could be so dangerous to Jehovahs Witnesses that the organisation will go to any lengths to ensure that they don't come into contact with it? Currently Jehovahs Witnesses are in 'convention season'.  Thousands of them are gathering at arenas all across the globe to hear the program for the REMAIN LOYAL TO JEHOVAH assembly. The theme however does not fit the material being delivered to these vast audiences.  The REAL theme of these conventions is;  OBEY THE SOCIETY! To demonstrate my claim just take a look at the video they are showing of Sonia Ericsson, a young woman who is born into a family of Jehovahs Witnesses.  Throughout her whole childhood and into her teenage years she is force fed the Watchtower, Bible and Tract Society's (WBTS) views on a daily basis. She is given no chance to explore other faiths or alternative viewpoints.  When she leaves school as a young woman she feels trapped in the organisation (and why wouldn't you?) and soon, when a young man at her work takes an interest in her, she commits (and I say this with my tongue firmly in my cheek) the terrible sin of fall...

As I set out in part one of this blog Jehovah's Witnesses beliefs are based on a foundation of three premises which are; 1. This life is not all there is.  God offers everyone the chance of everlasting life in a paradise earth where sickness and death are things of the past. 2. God promises a resurrection of dead loved ones.  3. To receive 1 and 2 a person needs to join Jehovah's Witnesses. The Watchtower Bible and Tract Society have a whole raft of rules and regulations that baffle most outsiders and certainly defy logic.  They are able to control and manipulate millions of people - most of whom are intelligent - to such a degree that they are willing to sacrifice their lives rather than disobey their leaders.   How does the organisation do this?    In fact it is very simple - they recognise the most basic of human desires and need only convince a person of three basic premises.  Once a person is convinced that those three statements are true the organisation can manipulate and control them indiscriminately.   So what are those three premises and how do they convince so many people? Another child abuse case is being fought by Jehovahs Witnesses in San Diego.  Interestingly in this case the appeals court threw out a $13.5 million judgement against the organisation and effectively ordered a re-trial with the requirement that documents concerning past sexual abuse cases in the organisation should be turned over to the court - something that the Watchtower, Bible and Tract Society have fought to avoid.  If they don't produce the documents there is a high probability that a similar award will be made. The problem is that the organisation have already admitted that they consider all the child abuse cases being levelled at them to be Satanic attacks and they feel justified in waging Theocratic warfare to protect themselves including impeding and misleading the authorities investigating the claims as well as the destruction of incriminating documentation. Jehovah's Witnesses are well known for their refusal to accept blood transfusions even when that refusal will result in death, either for themselves or their children.  The following is a direct quote from the JW.ORG website; This is a religious issue rather than a medical one. Both the Old and New Testaments clearly command us to abstain from blood. (Genesis 9:4; Leviticus 17:10; Deuteronomy 12:23; Acts 15:28, 29) Also, God views blood as representing life. (Leviticus 17:14) So we avoid taking blood not only in obedience to God but also out of respect for him as the Giver of life. In another article on the same website the organisation states; 5 What about the life of an unborn child? 'Russian Authorities Fabricate Evidence to Charge Witnesses With Extremism' The above is the headline on JW.ORG and relates to the threats by Russian Authorities to effectively ban the work of Jehovahs Witnesses in the country.  I have openly critisised the charity status that the organisation enjoys around the world however I support their right to free speech and their right to worship without intimidation and persecution. JW.ORG news has another interesting story.  It reports as follows; 'Jehovah’s Witnesses in Bulgaria have won a significant victory that upholds free speech but protects individuals and organisations against religious discrimination. Bulgaria’s Commission for Protection Against Discrimination found that the Bulgarian cable television channel SKAT TV and two of its journalists deliberately spread false information about Jehovah’s Witnesses and encouraged violence against them. The Commission concluded that SKAT TV’s behaviour “cannot be excused.”' Clearly a television channel promoting violence against any group or individual is reprehensible and the legal victory must be applauded.  However the Witnesses use of language is interesting; ...upholds free speech but protects individuals and organisations against religious discrimination. JW.Org is reporting a plaque has been unveiled in Budapest recognising four Jehovahs Witness men who were executed for their religious beliefs by the Nazi's in 1945. It's a sad fact that many thousands were executed or imprisoned during WW2 as a result of being conscientious objectors, Witnesses amongst them. However I wonder if there will be any plans in the future to erect plaques for the billions who are due to die at the hands of JW's God because they refuse to be a part of an organisation that is bigoted, homophobic and arrogant. It's interesting to note that the JW report quotes Dr Csaba Latorcai as saying; 'The plaque commemorates the four young men belonging to Jehovahs Witnesses,...they, as Jehovahs Witnesses, adhered to the command 'thou shalt not kill' and listened to their conscience not to take up arms against their fellow believers and their fellow man.' If you have spent any time with Jehovahs Witnesses you will know their view of 'The World'. Put simply the 'World' is anything outside Jehovahs organisation or even simpler, anything not within Jehovahs Witnesses.  The 'World' is Satan's domain, a Godless, evil place where everyone is on the side of the Devil.  It is filled with immorality, greed, hate, alcoholism, drug abuse, marital breakdowns, liars, rapists, child abusers and every other terrible thing. Of course they ignore the fact that most non-Witnesses are decent people - some are even incredible people who give their lives to help their fellow man.  Of course there are bad people, those who murder, steal, abuse and prey yet there are far more that risk their lives to help others, give their time to charities, give their money to worthy causes and even turn their lives around without the help of 'Jehovah'. This is how Jehovahs Witnesses deal with criticism. They shut their eyes, cover their ears and swallow the party line that all criticism is unjustified and untrue. Rather than check the facts for themselves they delegate all their responsibilities to a small group of old, middle class American men who pat them on the head and tell them all the accusations are coming from apostates and Satan. The following is more or less how the congregations deal with the allegations levelled against the organisation that are TRUE; Ignore the thousands of child abuse cases that are appearing all over the world because it's just an attack by Satan on the organisation.  If you probe the reports you will be showing disloyalty to Jehovah and your faith could be damaged and as we are so close to Armageddon you don't want to risk that do you?   Excuse me, you were abused and the elders did not pursue it because it was just your word against his?  Do not go to the authorities, the bi...
