Blame God 2




In my last post I demonstrated how the Governing Body use God as an excuse to discharge their responsibility in dealing with peodophiles within their organisation.

Their most obvious problem is their refusal to understand that all the criticism levelled against them by the American legal system, the British legal system, the Australian legal system, the Norwegian legal system etc etc is not an 'apostate attack' which is what they want to believe.  Rather it is serious, reasonable people who want to protect innocent victims from vile predators.

Why can the Governing Body not accept that;

1.  There is a clear problem of child abuse in the organisation?

2.  Understand that nobody is accusing the organisation of carrying out the abuse?

3.  Realise that any large organisation that includes children attracts peodophile predators?

4.  Accept that the law has both the legal power and the expertise to deal with these people?

The organisation is so hung up with wanting it's members to believe it is being attacked by some ridiculous, fantasy character that they are ignoring the real issue - many of their own children are being harmed by people who do not have Witness values.

This is a message to them;

Wake up Governing Body!  This is not an attack on you - there are plenty of opportunities to attack your beliefs and your conduct - child abuse however is not one of them.  It is a crime, it is damaging and it is carried out by people who are evil.

Stop denying the problem and confront it.  Stop hiding behind the two-witness rule.  Do you really think that God is so stupid he would rather protect a child abuser because there wasn't another person witnessing the crime than protecting an innocent little boy or girl?

Do you honestly believe that he wants those kids to be damaged both mentally and physically for weeks, months, years or even longer before he is ready to meet out judgement whenever Armageddon arrives?

If you do then you are demonstrating a stupidity and a callousness that allies yourself with the Devil. 

You claim your God is a God of love yet you portray him as sick, unjust and unkind.  You defend the indefensible and you do it in a way that displays cowardice and weakness.

You have castigated other faiths, specifically the Catholic church for dealing with these crimes in exactly the same manner as you are now dealing with them - denial, weak punishments, cover ups and blaming everyone but yourselves.

This is NOTHING to do with apostasy - this is EVERYTHING to do with decency.  You are so frightened of bringing the name of your religion into disrepute and yet you are dragging Gods name through every mud pile, dunghill and cesspit imaginable by both your stance against child abusers and your putrid defence against the charges bought against you.

Surely now is the time to accept help and advice from organisations experienced and qualified in dealing with child predators in order to protect your children from abuse in the future.

What's the point of the Memorial?

It's memorial season again and most of us will get an invite.  To JW's it is viewed as the most important meeting of the year and effectively it is the only celebration that they actively encourage. Witnesses view the memorial as a celebration and as kids growing up in the 'truth' we were taught the significance of the emblems and the importance of the ransom sacrifice.  However, from being a youngster, I have always questioned the whole concept of both the memorial and (apostasy alert) more to the point, the reasoning behind Jesus ransom sacrifice.  Here is the basic premise of the memorial;  It's a formal ceremony that acknowledges the sacrifice of a perfect man, Jesus. JW Terrorists

JW.ORG is announcing the imminent ban of the religion in Russia.  It states; On March 15, 2017, Russia’s Ministry of Justice filed a claim with the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation to label the Administrative Center of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia as extremist and liquidate it.  The Governing Body are said to be so concerned at the situation that they are encouraging all eight million Witnesses to write to the Russian authorities to protest the ban.  One of their spokesman made this interesting comment; “The Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses wants to heighten attention to this critical situation,” states David A. Semonian, a spokesman at the Witnesses’ world headquarters. “Prosecuting non-violent, law-abiding citizens as if they were terrorists is clearly a misapplication of anti-extremist laws.
