Taking off the Rose Tinted Glasses

My earlier blogs have shown how elders can get away with immorality as long as they keep quiet about it for three years.  They have provided clear, unambiguous evidence, of the Governing Bodys lies and misdirection in their literature.  I have highlighted a time when the Organisation admitted that disfellowshipping was not only unscriptural but even pagan.  

There have been blogs showing the Watchtower Bible and Tract Societies membership of the United Nations - the very organisation they claim is the Devils earthly representation.  Others have shown the long line of predictions that the organisation has made for nearly 150 years that have failed to come true.  I have highlighted their extremist views and how many of their beliefs mirror those of the extremist organisation ISIS.  Some posts have shown their intolerance, their obsessive control over their followers and even their manipulation of the state to afford themselves charitable status.

Every blog I write can be corroborated independently, whether in the JW's own literature or the press or even in the publications that they quote from.

Wherever necessary I try to defend JW's because so much of the criticism against them comes from other religious groups who are trying to promote another brand of nonsense.  They are ignorant of what it's like within the organisation and they simply repeat inaccurate, biased reporting without checking its authenticity.  

I was born into a Witness family and remained in it for over forty years.  My experiences include being privy to the most sensitive information, shepherding 'the flock', giving public talks and pioneering.  I saw it all, witnessed it all and sadly took part in it all - at least that is what I thought.

The problem was I didn't see it all, I only saw what they allowed me to see.

It is only since I left the religion that I have had the courage to ignore the advice of the Governing Body and view their teachings and rules with an unbiased eye.  Without the threat of punishment hanging over my head if I dare question them, or worse still, look at literature that contradicts them, I have been able to gain a true, accurate insight of the Organisation.

If you listen to the Governing Body you will believe that Jehovah's Witnesses are fine, upstanding members of the community.  They portray themselves as honest, respectful, having high moral standards and strong, happy families.  The Governing Body claim to have Gods backing and that Holy Spirit directs the congregation elders.

Look beyond the suits and softly spoken words and you will see an organisation that is praying for the mass murder of billions by their God at Armageddon.  You will see generations of people who have been denied the opportunity of further education, condemning them to menial employment for their entire lives. You will see families destroyed by their practice of shunning.  Look even closer and you will see an organisation being rocked to its core by an avalanche of child abuse cases.

If you are a Jehovah's Witness you are only reading this blog because you know something is wrong with the organisation that you are in.   My advice to you is; do not take what I say at face value!

Research my claims.  Check every reference and check it carefully.  The Governing Body constantly refer to blogs like mine as Satanic and apostate.  They don't like their little secrets being revealed and in order to try to prevent Witnesses from reading these blogs they have to paint us in the worst light possible.  Apostasy however involves lies and deceit whereas you can independently verify everything I reveal.
